One of the families related to the Kolodzey line is the Adamik family from Bardejov. Knowing that the Tokarszky family was listed as being from Bardejov (Bartfa/Bartfeld) as shown in three records, the Adamik family is most likely related to the Tokarszky line. You may recognize the Tokarszky name from Charles S Kolodgy's grandmother Maria Tokarszky (b. 1834, wife of Joannes Kolodzey b. 1829).
The majority of the Adamik families were located in Fayette County, Pennsylvania (Uniontown, Oliver, Phillips, around the 1900s. By the 1950s, many had branched out to Ohio where the majority live today.
As you can see from the tree diagram, the green boxes are DNA matches with lighter green boxes showing the thru-lines. This demonstrates that our DNA match to the Adamik family is no one-off connection, as there are eight different DNA matches to this family.
The Adamik families with matches include: Legat, Ellis, Cain, Godlewski, and Bukowski. Other Adamik families that have yet to submit DNA tests or have no matches are: Koshock, Kaurich, Dee, Papajcik, Marchand, Mortimer, Christovich.
